Applying for Financial Aid
2024-2025 FAFSA Filing
Each year students must file the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to be considered for financial aid. While the 2024-2025 FAFSA became available for completion on December 31, 2023, it is not too late to file for the 2024-2025 academic year. Each student and parent (dependent students only) must have an FSA ID to electronically sign the FAFSA. Please note that a change for 2024-2025 is that parents without a Social Security Number can apply for an FSA ID, although student applicants must still have SSNs to receive Federal Student Aid. For more information on FSA ID creation, go to studentaid.gov to create an account. You can also call the Federal Student Aid Information Center (FSAIC) at 1-800-433-3243 for assistance with FSA ID creation and FAFSA completion.
