Body Worn Cameras
Consistent with New Jersey Attorney General law enforcement directives, Kean University Campus Police are wearing body worn cameras (BWCs). BWCs record events that occur in a broad range of police activities and provide objective data. Kean University Campus Police generally will wear and employ BWCs during the performance of their duties. Other sworn law enforcement officers working special events at Kean University also may be wearing and employing BWCs. The BWC is worn on the front of a uniformed officer’s shirt, on the uniform belt, or affixed to the lapel/collar of the shirt. Please direct any questions about the Kean University BWC Program to Sgt. Lewis King.
