1st Generation Research Initiative
Program Description
Research isn't just for a select few—it's a gateway to endless possibilities. It's a chance to dive deep into topics that spark your curiosity, develop skills employers value, and make a tangible impact on the world. We acknowledge that the concept of research may be unfamiliar or even intimidating. That's why we invite you to join CURF and participate in the 1st Generation Research Initiative.
The 1st Generation Research Initiative is a 6-week research or creative experience working with a Kean faculty mentor. The program gives students access to both faculty mentors and student mentors, which leads to future research opportunities. Students do not need prior research experience to enter the program.
