Millennium Fellowship with the United Nations
Hey Cougars,
We have an exciting opportunity for you all to participate in the United Nation's Millennium Fellowship in Fall of 2024. Universities worldwide create groups of between 8 and 20+ people to work together for the entire fall semester to address a sustainable development goal of their campuses or local communities. Next year, our goal is for Kean University to participate!
The Millennium Fellowship convenes, challenges, and celebrates the bold student leadership, advancing the Sustainable Development Goals on campus and in communities. As a Millennium Fellow, you will hone your skills, take concrete action, and earn a certificate of recognition from the United Nations Academic Impact and MCN. In 2021, 2,000+ Millennium Fellows collectively advanced all 17 Sustainable Development Goals, contributed 247,763 hours to 1,083 projects, and positively impacted the lives of over 1.6 million people in 30 nations. Over 44,000 young leaders on 3,000+ campuses across 170 nations applied to join the Class of 2023. This is a robust global network and undergraduates worldwide are invited to apply for the Class of 2024. There is no cost for selected students. Class of 2024 will run August-December 2024.
All returning undergraduate students are welcome to apply! If interested, you must apply individually to participate. In order to ensure a strong application, we request that you send your application to pac@kean.edu for review.
The deadline to submit applications for the Millennium Fellowship is January 30th, 2024.
