Kean V.E.T.S has online certification forms sent out via email EVERY semester to certify benefits. Please make sure you fill out the certification when registered for any semester.

Veteran Student Exit Form (PDF)
This is a document prepared for visiting students. This form must be filled by both the student and Kean University Veteran Student Services Office. The visiting student must be accepted to Kean University for the requested semester and must have an official degree plan on file.

Kean Ocean Tuition Refund Appeal Request Form
For consideration of a Tuition Refund appeal, your request must be submitted within ONE YEAR of the end of the semester/term in question.

Use this form to apply for educational assistance under the following benefit programs:
- Post-9/11 GI Bill® chapter 33 of title 38
- Montgomery GI Bill® (MGIB) chapter 30 of title 38
- Montgomery GI Bill® – Selected Reserve (MGIB-SR) chapter 1606 of title 10

Form 22-1995: Request for Change of Program or Place of Training**
Use this form when:
- You’re changing schools
- You’re changing your educational, professional, vocational goal
- You left your program due to unsatisfactory attendance, progress, or conduct;
- And you’re now reentering the same program, or you were receiving VA education benefits as a veteran and now wish to receive benefits while on active military duty.
Form 22-5490: Dependents’ Application for VA Education Benefits**
Use this form to apply for educational assistance under the following benefit programs:
- Survivors’ and Dependents’ Educational Assistance Program (DEA) (chapter 35 of title 38, U.S. Code)
- Post-9/11 GI Bill® Marine Gunnery Sergeant John David Fry Scholarship (Fry Scholarship) (Chapter 33 of title 38, U.S. Code)
