Generation 2 Generation symposia and events provide workshops, resources and training designed to empower the next generation of leaders.
More than 100 young men attended Kean University’s inaugural Generation 2 Generation Male Empowerment Symposium in March of 2022. Attendees learned about financial literacy and mindfulness and listened to a rousing address by a motivational speaker and author. Bringing students and caregivers together is a highly impactful strategy designed to bridge the achievement gap.
By introducing motivated high school students to the college experience early on in their academic careers, learning outcomes and the transition to college are greatly improved. Kean admissions counselors can further assist your teen with academic advising, financial aid and scholarships.
