
Information for Poster Presenters
Undergraduate Poster Presenter Guidelines – Research Day 2025
Thank you for being part of this year’s Research Day! Please review the following guidelines to help ensure a smooth and successful experience:
1. Arrival & Registration
Date: Wednesday, April 23
Location: Harwood Arena
Registration Time: Begins promptly at 9:00 AM
During registration, you will:
- Pick up your name tag
- Receive a giveaway
- Find out the location of your assigned poster
2. Poster Symposium Start Time
The Poster Symposium will begin at 10:00 AM.
Please make sure you are at your assigned spot by that time.
3. Poster Placement
Posters will be organized according to the college and major of the lead presenter (the student who registered the presentation). For example: In a group presentation, the poster will be placed in the section aligned with the lead presenter’s college and major.
4. Group Presentations
If presenting as part of a group, all team members must be present during the presentation session.
5. Dress Code
- Business Casual attire is required.
- Presenters are expected to dress professionally, as you will be engaging with faculty, peers, and guests.
6. Presentation Tips
- Practice your presentation to stay within time limits.
- Be ready to explain your research clearly to both academic and general audiences.
- Remain near your poster during the session to answer questions and engage with attendees.
At the end of the event, please remember to take your poster with you.
Graduate Poster Presenter Guidelines – Research Day 2025

Registration Time: Begins promptly at 3:30 PM
At registration, you will:
- Pick up your name tag
- Receive a giveaway
- Find out the location of your poster
2. Poster Symposium Start Time
- The Poster Symposium will begin at 4:30 PM.
- Please ensure you are at your assigned location by that time.
3. Poster Placement
Posters will be arranged according to the college and major of the lead presenter (i.e., the person who registered the presentation). For example: In a group presentation, the poster will be displayed in the section aligned with the lead presenter’s college and major.
4. Group Presentations
If presenting as part of a group, all team members must be present during the presentation period.
5. Dress Code
- Business Casual attire is required.
- Please dress professionally, as you will be engaging with faculty, peers, and guests throughout the event.
