If you are interested in collaborating with our office, you must submit an official request to Kean Wellness Center. Please complete the Request for Collaboration Form and include as many details about the event as possible. The request will be reviewed by the Kean Wellness Center programming committee and a response with a decision should occur in no later than 5 business days.

Iris House - Free and Confidential HIV/STI Testing

No appointments Necessary. No insurance required. Just walk into Downs Hall on the following dates with your Kean ID:

  • Friday, April 4th: 11am-4pm (HIV TESTING ONLY)
  • Tuesday, April 8th: 1:30pm-4:30pm (HIV & STI)
  • Thursday, April 10th: 12-4pm (HIV & STI)
  • Monday, April 14th: 11am-4pm (HIV TESTING ONLY)
  • Tuesday, April 22nd: 11am-4pm (HIV & STI)

Denim Day - April 30, 2025 

April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month. Kean Wellness Center is asking the Kean Community to come together to participate in Denim Day!

What is Denim Day?

Denim Day is an international campaign that takes place on the last Wednesday in April during Sexual Assault Awareness Month.

The Denim Day campaign was developed by Peace Over Violence in Los Angeles, an organization that brings awareness to victim-blaming and destructive myths that surround sexual violence. Denim Day provides an opportunity for members of our community to stand up to victim blaming culture and show support for survivors of sexual misconduct.

Stop by our tabling event at MSC Atrium April 29th from 3pm-4:30pm to learn more about the history of Denim Day and how you can support victims of sexual assault. Don't forget to grab your Denim Day pin and other giveaways! 

How to Participate?

  • Wear denim on Wednesday, April 30, 2025
  • Donate your Denim at KWC from 10am-11:30am and 1:30pm-3:30pm.
  • Talk about the court case and other harmful myths that exist about sexual assault
  • Take a selfie and share on social media, #KWCDenimDay
  • Promote KWC Denim Day 2025 by downloading and using our virtual background on Zoom
