Kean University offers winter academic sessions to help students advance their academic progress toward a degree.
• Earn three credits in 3 weeks
• Get ahead, or catch up on degree progress
• Lighten your spring course load, or concentrate on one challenging course
Degree-seeking Kean students can register for winter session courses through the KeanWISE registration process.
Registration is open from October 29 through December 11, 2024. Late registration takes place December 12 through December 23*. The add/drop period takes place on December 23*.
Visiting students must fill out a Visiting/Non-Matriculated Student Application, and follow instructions provided to ensure the credits earned will transfer to the university in which they are enrolled.

*Students registering during the Late Registration period (after the published Payment Due Date) will be assessed a late registration fee of $105.00. Newly admitted students who have been accepted by Kean University two weeks prior to the payment due date and thereafter will be exempt from this policy. A Late Registration Fee will NOT be charged to students making course changes, including adding and dropping courses, after the published Payment Due Date.
