Campuses Closed on Sunday, January 19, and Monday, January 20, Due to Weather

Due to the winter weather forecast, all classes and activities at Kean’s main campus in Union, Kean Ocean and Kean Skylands are canceled on Sunday, January 19, and Monday, January 20. Normal operations are expected to resume on Tuesday, January 21. Only personnel who are essential during weather emergencies should report to work as required on Sunday and Monday. Employees with questions about their status should consult their supervisors. Keanu’s Kitchen will be open for on-campus residents from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Sunday and 9 a.m. to midnight on Monday.

The One Stop Service Center of the Office of the Registrar assists students with navigating and maintaining their student records and registration at Kean University.

Spring 2025 Add/Drop - Extended Hours

The Office of the Registrar will have extended hours for the beginning of the Spring 2025 semester. Our hours of operation are as follows:

  • Monday, January 13: 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
  • Tuesday, January 14: 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
  • Wednesday, January 15: 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
  • Thursday, January 16: 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
  • Friday, January 17: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Saturday, January 18: 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
  • Sunday, January 19: Closed
  • Monday, January 20 (Martin Luther King Jr. Day): Closed
  • Tuesday, January 21: 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
  • Wednesday, January 22: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Thursday, January 23: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Friday, January 24: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Saturday, January 25: 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
  • Sunday, January 26: Closed

Standard operating hours of Monday-Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. resume Monday, January 27.

Cougar Help Center

The Cougar Help Center is a dedicated phone service that can address student registration, financial aid, scholarship and billing inquiries. The Cougar Help Center can be reached by phone at (908) 737-0400 and operates six days a week:

  • Monday - Thursday: 9 a.m. - 7 p.m.
  • Friday - Saturday: 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.

Hours of Operation

The Office of the Registrar / One Stop Service Center Hours of Operation standard fall and spring semester hours of operation are Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Extended hours will be available for the beginning of each semester and the beginning of course registration for the upcoming semester.
