Junior forward Krista LaMaina of the No. 16 Kean University field hockey program was named the national Division III Longstreth/National Field Hockey Coaches Association Offensive Player of the Week on October 19.
Kean University students recently competed alongside students from Penn State and Germany’s Hof University in a Lockheed Martin Case Competition. The students devised and presented novel applications and growth opportunities for Lockheed Martin aerospace technologies.

The Metalsmith Student League won top honors at Kean Day, the university’s annual celebration of student groups and activities, taking home the $500 grand prize. Entrants were judged on originality, audience interaction and Kean pride.
