Research
Research at Kean spans a wide range of topics, from audiology, speech perception, and language comprehension to assessment validity, practices in supervision, and culturally-responsive practice.
Research Labs & Groups
To get involved in research, all interested students can join a faculty-run lab or research group. During lab meetings, students may share and discuss published articles or experiments with a faculty mentor, practice research talks, and brainstorm new projects. All students are welcome regardless of experience or academic level.

Graduate Research
Students in our graduate programs complete an original research project on a topic of interest. Incorporated directly in the curriculum, students are guided through each stage of the process, including planning, conducting, and reporting a research project. By graduation, many students have the opportunity to present their research at professional or academic conferences or complete a manuscript for peer-reviewed publication.
