Kean University celebrated the 2,825 undergraduates of its Class of 2022 at a joyous Commencement, held at the Prudential Center in Newark for the first time since the start of the pandemic. The day included a Commencement address by Tony-nominated Deaf actor Lauren Ridloff, who spoke in American Sign Language translated by an interpreter.

As a packed house of friends and family watched and celebrated in the New Jersey Performing Arts Center in Newark, Kean University conferred graduate degrees on 755 students at its festive Graduate Commencement. It was Kean's first full in-person ceremony since the pandemic struck in 2020.
