Residence hall life is a highlight of the college experience for many undergraduates, and this fall, Kean University design students are partnering with IKEA of Elizabeth to increase the style and convenience of dorm living.

Mother Teresa became a Saint of the Roman Catholic Church on September 4, 2016, nearly 20 years after her death.  Kean University professor Christopher Bellitto, Ph.D., is featured in a new CNN International documentary chronicling her journey to canonization.

Union, N.J. - Kean University hosted a group of computer science department chairs from throughout New Jersey and New York on Wednesday, August 17, for the first annual New Jersey Computer Science Higher Education awards.

The oldest person in the United States is Kean University alumna Adele Henderson Dunlap. The 113-year-old graduated in 1923 from Kean’s predecessor, Newark Normal School, with a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education.

Premiere Stages will present Las Cruces by Vincent Delaney, the winner of the 2016 Premiere Stages Play Festival, September 1 – 18 in Kean University’s Zella Fry Theatre.

Recent Kean University graduate Jezzamine Wolk is embarking on a career in broadcasting with NBCUniversal. 

Kean University hosted CS4HS, a 3-day Google-funded professional development program for high school computer science (CS) teachers July 27-29.
