RHS Students Explore Equity and Leadership

Rahway High School's Multi-Ethnic Culture Club, under guidance of Ms. Susana Monteiro, recently participated in a meaningful MLK Day of Service event, earning special recognition from Kean University's Human Rights Institute and Engage NJ. The event explored the legacies of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and Anne Frank and facilitated important discussions about the difference between equity and equality. Through interactive activities, students explored how to support our community and develop strong leadership qualities. The students' contributions were captured in a unique project, and the club received a copy of Dr. King's iconic "I Have a Dream" speech.
