EOF Summer
2024 EOF Summer Academy
EOF Summer Academy Overview – June 29- July 3 1, 2025*
The Kean University EOF Summer Academy is a one-month residential pre-college summer program. As part of our academic support services, the EOF Summer Academy assists first-time, full-time college students with a head start on their college career while also assisting in transitioning from high school to college. Our traditional Academic Advancement Track provides students the opportunity to earn three college credits by taking a credited college course needed for their major. Participants will also receive academic support to improve their foundational writing, reading, and math skills in preparation for their Fall courses in these subjects. All EOF Summer Academy participants will engage with their EOF academic counselors and classmates in a series of workshops and social events as they learn about and experience the support services of the EOF program and Kean University.
Summer Academy Orientation – Saturday, June 14, 2025 *
Incoming EOF Scholars and their parents will have an opportunity to learn more details and the expectations of the Summer Academy at the on-campus EOF Summer Academy Orientation on Saturday, June 14th. Scholars and parents will participate in information sessions from key Kean University partners ( Financial Aid, Residence Life, Health Services, etc. ). Scholars will meet and engage with their classmates, EOF Counselors, and Summer Residential Counselors. This orientation is specific to the upcoming EOF Summer Academy and mandatory for all Summer Academy participants.
