Teaching Philosophy
As a design educator, I aspire to empower students with the tools, knowledge, confidence and opportunities that guide them to think creatively, solve problems critically and become responsible and contributing members of the interior design profession. I make every effort to instill in students a life-long learning perspective and the confidence that their role as interior designers is important, and that as practitioners they affect the health, safety and well being of the public. I strive to mentor and facilitate learning and professional competency through a teaching style that is supportive and nurturing.
