Biography

Kerrylynn Konecny has worked as a lecturer in the Biology Program at Kean University for approximately ten years. She currently teaches Biology 1300, Biology 1400, and Biology 3400 courses, and has previously taught Biology 1000, Biology 2200, as well as other Biology online courses. Professor Konecny serves as an Academic Advisor, The Pre-Medical/Pre-Dental Advisory Committee Chair, Post Baccalaureate Pre-Health Program Coordinator and Biology Club Faculty Advisor. She is also an active member of the Biology Department's Assessment and Recruitment Committees. Professor Konecny is actively involved in various animal rescue associations, and participates in trap-neuter-return (TNR) programs for the humane treatment of feral cats.
