I like to engage the students in an interactive discussion. I try to not only lecture at the students but to have them actively participate in all my classes. I endeavor to learn each student's background, so I can tailor the discussion to specific areas of interest that they may have. It's an effective way to get students involved.

I very much like the diversity in backgrounds, demographics, language skills that Kean students have. That diversity resonates well when teaching geography; since we cover topics and regions of the world that I find all students can relate to.

Prior to teaching at Kean, which I have been doing for the past 10 years, I worked for banks and insurance companies in NYC. I managed teams of marketing professionals and travelled around the US and in Europe. I like to draw upon those experiences in the corporate world and share those lessons with my students.
