I try to keep my assignments and expectations as "real world" as possible to better prepare my students for what awaits them when they graduate.
The best part about teaching at Kean University
Being a graduate of Kean makes a big difference. I share many of the students' experiences and know their hometowns, having grown up in Union County. After a rough start as a freshman, I graduated with honors and continue to enjoy a long career in TV.
My students should know
I still work as a freelance anchor and reporter, for Chasing News on My9. They'll know that and a lot more before the semester is over! I'm pretty much an open book.
