I am an Adjunct Professor for the School of Environmental and Sustainability Sciences at Kean University. I have graduated from the Department of Environmental Management of the Faculty of Geography of Lomonosov Moscow State University (Moscow, Russia) with the qualifications of “Ecologist-Environmental Manager with specialization in Environmental Management”. I have about 12 years of experience in my specialization including 7 years of teaching at the Department of World Physical Geography and Geoecology of the Faculty of Geography of Lomonosov Moscow State University and 1 semester of teaching at the School of Environmental and Sustainability Sciences at Kean University. The courses I have taught in the past are Geography, Ecology, Natural Resource Management, and Sustainable Development.
My areas of expertise and scholarly research: Geography; Ecology; Natural resource management; Environmental management; Sustainable development; Legislation (including Environmental laws and standards, Indigenous rights, etc.); and Indigenous peoples, in particular indigenous peoples of the North.
