Autism Social Skills Program
Kean University’s Center for Autism Assessment and Research Services (CAARS) is excited to announce a new social skills program, EMPOWER (Encouraging Meaningful Participations & Openness While Enhancing Relationships), for children and adolescents with Autism Spectrum Disorder. These social skills groups will be free of charge. This program will be available for youth ages 14-21. This program includes both general social skills education. A parent support group will be available as well, dependent on enrollment.

As a University-based training clinic, all therapists are doctoral students enrolled in our APA-accredited training program in combined Clinical and School Psychology, providing care under the supervision of a licensed psychologist from our department. Please visit and share our website and contact information with any clients or individuals in the community you believe could benefit from our services.
