Educational Administration, Post Master’s Certification: Supervisor

The Post-Master's Supervisor Certification option is designed to prepare individuals for the position of supervisor. Completion of this program satisfies the degree requirements for the New Jersey certification as a school supervisor, providing all other State certification requirements are met. The program offered by Kean University has been approved by the State. Under the requirements, in addition to possession of a master's degree in a recognized field of administration, a New Jersey Instructional or Educational Services Certificate, and three years’ experience under the appropriate certificate, a supervisor certificate will be granted by the State after program completion.

In addition to the University’s admission requirements:

• Master's degree
• Official transcripts from all institutions attended
• New Jersey Instructional or Educational Services Certificate
• Three years of experience under the appropriate certificate
• Personal statement
• Professional Resume/CV
• Official TOEFL or IELTS score reports (International Students Only)

Program Requirements:

• 12 credits
• Three years teaching experience under the appropriate certificate
