New Jersey Cybersecurity Regional Cluster (NJCRC)
Small Business Cybersecurity Risk Assessments
The Kean University Center for Cybersecurity has partnered with the John S. Watson Institute for Urban Policy and Research, Rutgers University SBDC, along with NTouch-BCT Strategies, LLC as the lead agent in being awarded the United States Small Business Administration Regional Innovation Cluster grant, focused on cybersecurity. The effort created the New Jersey Cybersecurity Regional Cluster (NJCRC).
The Kean University Center for Cybersecurity will be a catalyst in this grant effort by providing small businesses from the counties of Mercer, Middlesex, Union, Essex, and Hudson County of New Jersey the opportunity to have a free cybersecurity risk assessment completed. The cybersecurity assessments will be completed and provided to the small businesses as an awareness of cyber risks, allowing for a second phase to deliver the results to small business providers that can help implement the recommended or necessary cybersecurity defenses and solutions to help protect them.
