Cybersecurity Awareness Training
Web-based cybersecurity awareness training is required for all incoming freshman as well as transfer students. The training includes routine check-points with cybersecurity related questions that need to be answered correctly before a student can proceed to completion. Training status is maintained for each student. For further information on the student cybersecurity training system, please visit SANS Cybersecurity Awareness Training page
Cybersecurity awareness training is available to faculty and staff through an online platform provided by the SANS Institute. The Learning Management System (LMS) utilized by SANS for the web-based training is SAP Litmos. For further information, please visit the SANS Cybersecurity Awareness Training page.
If you are interested in an in-person cybersecurity training session or set of customized training modules, please contact Stan Mierzwa, in our Kean University Center for Cybersecurity at smierzwa@kean.edu.
