Affinity Groups
Affinity groups are formed around a shared identity or common goal to build community among members of non-dominant groups and to foster inclusion and awareness in the broader university. The Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, with support from the Human Resources Office, is proud to empower our employee affinity groups. These groups host meaningful events, engage in mentoring, and foster community among our underrepresented and diverse faculty, staff, and student populations.
The offices seeks to create affinity groups for the following
- Faculty & Staff of Color
- Faculty & Staff Pride
- African American
- Latino/a/x
- Asian Pacific Islander
- Native & Indegineous
- International
If you are interested in creating or joining an existing affinity group please email DEI@Kean.edu.
