General Education Learning Community Pilot Program

GE Learning Community - A Pilot Program Fall 2024

Students will take three or four courses with peers in their college and each course in the cohort will focus on one of the following themes: migration, sustainability, or democracy & civic engagement.

Students in these cohorts will:

• Take excursions to off campus sites
• Gain a deeper sense of community
• Examine course themes from different perspectives
• Explore their passions
• Build connections with peers and professors in small classes.

New first-year students whose majors are in the following areas:

• Hennings College
