Well-Being at Work partners with Personify Health (Formerly known as Virgin Pulse) to bring you a new level of interaction for your health journey.
What is Personify Health?
Personify Health is a health and well-being platform that provides the tools and guidance to develop and maintain healthy habits.
When you participate you can earn daily points, and when you accumulate points you can exchange them for rewards such as items from the online store, gift cards or you can use the monetary value to donate to charity.
Well-Being at Work through Personify Health will be easy to access and use, and points will add up quickly. You earn right away for simple tasks such as registering, downloading the app, inviting your colleagues to join, and connecting with any digital tools you might already be using to track your daily steps. These are just some of the ways being part of the Well-Being at Work online community for Kean employees can be fun and connected while working toward better health.
The Personify Health platform also includes challenges you can join, such as walking and other physical activities and challenges you can create for yourself and/or your colleagues, friends or family.
Additionally, when you join Personify Health online you can set your preferences for information about topics such as nutrition, sleep, activity and dealing with stress. These are just a few of the hundreds of learning resources available to you. You will also have access to a health coach.
Who is eligible?
All Kean University full-time employees are eligible to participate and earn rewards on Personify Health.
How much can I earn on Personify Health?
When you participate in Personify Health, you could earn up to $125 in the program year, from June 1, 2024, to May 31, 2025. This is your opportunity to earn points and get rewarded for developing and maintaining healthy habits.
How it works:
- Level rewards: Earn up to $25 each quarter by reaching Level 4 - $100 per program year (6/1/24 - 5/31/25)
- Action rewards: Earn up to $25 for completing the Actions during the 2024/2025 program year
- $5 - Set a Well-Being Goal
- $10 - Completing a Health Check Survey
- $10 - Complete a Biometric Screening
Earn up to $125 total per program year
How can I use my reward dollars?
You can use your reward dollars in three ways:

Get a gift card (such as Visa, Target, Starbucks, Home Depot, GameStop, Amazon and many more!)

Shop for items from the online Personify Health store

Donate to charity
How do I invite a colleague to join and earn $5?
Navigate to the rewards page (Home/Rewards) and click on the "Invite a colleague" link, and then “Take Me There.” Enter the email address and click "Send Invites."
To determine which colleagues have not yet enrolled you may -
Go to the Social tab, then select Friends, and Add Friends. If the person’s name already appears there, they are already enrolled in Personify Health and you cannot invite them as a colleague.
You only get rewarded if that person joins.
What do I get if I want to invite more colleagues?
When you invite five colleagues and they join, you get 250 points!
Can I invite people outside of Kean University to join Personify Health?
Yes, 10! Each employee can invite 10 friends (Outside of Kean)/family members to join Personify Health. You will be able to share your Well-Being journey with those you hold near and dear! Friends and family will be able to connect an activity device and join you on personal challenges. They will also be able to see content, such as daily cards, healthy habits, and media.
Friends and Family will NOT have access to exclusive member benefits such as rewards and coaching.
Additionally, you earn 100 points for adding a friend (or family member) from outside of Kean University.
Does Personify Health replace the benefits given by NJWell?
Personify Health does not replace NJ Well. For employees eligible to participate in NJWell through the Horizon or Aetna health plans, we encourage you to take advantage of both opportunities.
Will biometric screenings be offered through Personify Health?
Yes! Biometric screenings will be made available to employees through Personify Health.
Back by popular demand, on-campus biometric screenings will be offered in the coming months! Stay tuned for the announcement.
How to Upload a Biometric Screening?
- Login to Personify Health
- Navigate to the Home tab on the top row - click "Rewards" on the drop down menu
- Scroll down to the All Rewards category and click "Complete Biometric Screening" - this will bring you to the Quest pop out, then complete all information on the Quest Website to upload Biometric Screening Data.
How do I connect to Personify Health?
Connect to the Personify Health Platform today! You will be prompted to create your own confidential password for ongoing access to Well-Being at Work on the Personify Health platform.

After you have enrolled for the first time, use Single Sign On for a seamless, sign-on experience by clicking the link below and bookmarking it for future reference:

Why do the stats (steps, etc.) I see on my activity device (Fitbit, etc.) differ from what I see in Personify Health?
Due to the timing of the data syncing, it may appear as if there is a delay in the data you see on your activity device versus what you see in Personify Health. This may be due to the following:

Your activity device syncs first with its own app/server. Then, it syncs with Personify Health.
To see your stats in real-time, simply open your activity device app first and allow it to sync data and then open the Personify Health app.
Apple Watch users must open the Personify Health app once every 14 days for the data to sync.
What about on-campus Well-Being at Work activities?
During the year, Well-Being at Work will continue providing on-campus physical activities such as team walks, yoga, and many more! When you participate in those, you will also earn points to use in Well-Being at Work online and continue to work toward earning rewards. Stay tuned for announcements about activities and challenges that will allow you to earn points!
