Academic Standards & Policy Committee

Purpose: The Academic Standards and Policy Committee recommends new academic policies and revisions to existing academic policies, procedures, and issues of academic quality and cross-college coordination to the Provost. Thus, the domain of this committee also involves matters related to academic standards, including, but not limited to, grading policies, examination policies, academic standards and policies for student academic progress, academic integrity, and other educational policies implemented by the Registrar’s Office.

The committee shall make recommendations to the university senate for discussion and approval. The Senate shall then forward its recommendations to the Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs.
