President Farahi Is 'Mystery Reader' at Child Care Center

Davinder Kaur's preschool class at the Kean Child Care and Development Center had a special "Mystery Reader" this week — Kean President Dawood Farahi, Ph.D.

The president read the children's book Fox Makes Friends by Adam Relf to 28 children, aged three to five, stopping to ask them what they thought of Fox's approach to making friends. Afterward, Farahi talked with the children about Halloween and invited them to his office for trick-or-treating, a Halloween visit that their teacher promised to make. 

The Child Care and Development Center welcomes members of the Kean community to volunteer as readers.
