Pat Winters Lauro featured in NY Times Article on Fake News

Journalism professor Pat Winters Lauro began teaching a class on news literacy at Kean this semester. Lauro and her students were recently featured in a NY Times article on fake news. 

Teachers from elementary school through college are showing their students how to distinguish between factual and fictional news. Lauro's course emphasizes journalistic standards for facts and their verification. Read the full story here.
