Kean has made improvements to many of its athletic facilities, including Harwood Arena, the track at Alumni Stadium, baseball and softball fields and more, and student-athletes and coaches say it's helping Kean’s sports teams excel.

Kean alumnus Emir Hamzic ’20, a national collegiate tennis champion, is now putting his athletic skills to work becoming a leader in the tennis coaching world.

Every time NBA fans watch an instant replay or read the statistics that crop up during broadcasts of the games, they see the work of Kean alumnus Chris Halton.

And he credits Kean with helping him get started.

VIDEO: The Kean University cougars climbed higher at Homecoming 2019. The community gathered for food, fun and football action. A new Homecoming king and queen were crowned and four lucky students won prizes from the "Semester on Us" contest. 

VIDEO: Kean's Latin fraternity, Lambda Theta Phi, raised more than $3,000 for Children's Specialized Hospital at its second annual Fraternal Charity Fútbol Cup on October 6 in Kean Alumni Stadium. The tournament included teams from many of Kean's fraternities and other ΛΘΦ chapters.

Health and Physical Education majors from Kean Ocean are getting the chance to earn extra in-school training through a unique relationship with the Lavallette school district.
