The fully renovated 30,000 square-foot space is home to faculty and staff offices, nine classrooms, a gym, residential housing for 24 and an event space. For environmental biology students studying at Skylands, the campus is a living laboratory. The Lodge houses two state-of-the-art labs where students can examine their findings and convene for lectures. Kean Professor Shanggeun Rhee teaches a business class at Skylands. The Cabin is Skylands’ newest building and was designed to blur the lines between indoor and outdoor spaces. Nestled among the trees and connected to the Lodge via a 35-foot-tall Skywalk, the Cabin's classrooms can be converted into large event spaces. Connecting the Cabin and Lodge, the Skywalk houses two outdoor classroom spaces. With ten hiking trails and a lake right on our property, there are many activities for students.
