Honors Convocation Frequently Asked Questions
How do I know if I am eligible to participate in Honors Convocation?
All eligible students will receive an email invitation to Honors Convocation during the week of March 17. Students should familiarize themselves with the criteria for participating in the ceremony and speak with their advisors should further clarity be needed. Unfortunately, if a student misses the criteria for any reason, we cannot offer exceptions to allow them to participate. It should be noted that students who are ineligible to participate in the ceremony may still be able to be acknowledged with honors designation on their transcript and diploma at the time of degree conferral based on their final cumulative GPA/credits.
If you do not receive an invitation by March 24 but believe you meet the criteria, speak with your advisor and then email honors@kean.edu with your student ID#.

On the registration form, you will be asked about any accommodations needed for you and/or your guests. Should your needs change as we near the event, email honors@kean.edu to submit a request.
I cannot attend Honors Convocation. Will I be recognized?
All honors graduates will be recognized following their degree conferral. Honors designations will be listed on the final transcript and will be recognized with a certificate and/or letter. All candidates will also be listed in the program that will be posted on this site following the event.
Can my honors designation change?
