Teaching Philosophy
I often ask myself, "How would I want to be taught if I were a student attending the class?". I would like to teach others, as I would like to be taught myself.
I always focus on the students with the lowest comprehension level while teaching, ensuring they understand every concept by teaching in a simple, methodical and concise manner, augmenting the discussion with numerous examples to stimulate their understanding. I do not emphasize the memorization of facts, but rather stress on understanding the concept and the development of critical thinking skills.
I firmly believe in the pursuit of mathematics as an excellent academic option based on both my experience as a teacher and a student of the subject. The journey can be challenging at times, but at the end of the day it is immensely rewarding, something that I can attest from my personal experience.
