Sam Behrens is a dancer, choreographer, and educator based in New York City. She holds a BFA in Dance from Marymount Manhattan College, where she concentrated in Jazz and Choreography and received the Gold Key Award for the highest achievement in her concentration. 

As a performer, Sam is represented by Resolute Artists Agency and has had the opportunity to work on a range of projects, including the Capezio ACE Awards, Bridesmaids: A Dance Narrative at Symphony Space, HBO series Love Life, Vices at Peridance Capezio Center, as well as a commercial campaign for a protein beverage company. She is also a company member of the NYC commercial dance company, TreadFAST, under the direction of Steven Blandino.  

In addition to performing, Sam is an award winning choreographer. Her choreography has been selected to be performed at venues such as the Steps on Broadway’s Choreography Lab, Mainstages for dance programs, and film festivals. She was also an awardee of the Dance New Jersey 2023 Regrant Program to produce a short dance film.  

Sam is also a passionate dance educator. She can also be found judging for multiple dance competitions, teaching for conventions, as well as working with studios and setting choreography around the country.
