Rosemarie Singalewitch received the award for Outstanding Cooperating Teacher from the New Jersey Department of Education in 2015 and was nominated as a VSA Teacher of the Year in 2011.  She received the award for Outstanding Research at Kean University's Research Day Exhibition in March 2009.  Ms. Singalewitch has spent the last 14 years engaged in action research into effective methods of assessment in the Visual Arts.
