Teaching Philosophy

All students are experts at something and tapping into that expertise keeps students engaged and pushing towards new areas of expertise. Many students have been led to believe that if they are not proficient at academics in a very traditional manner they are not "smart."  My teaching seeks to merge their skills with new ones.
