Kean University

Lauren has served as the Costume Shop Supervisor at NYU, Tisch School of the Arts (grad shop), in the Department of Theatrical Production, after holding the position of Associate Costume Director, and Adjunct Professor in the Theater Department of Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University for the nine years prior. Lauren also spent time as an Adjunct Professor at Brooklyn College. 

In addition to her career in Higher Education, Lauren is a freelance draper, tailor & costume technician in the New York-Metro area for Theater, Film, TV and Opera. Some recent contract work of note includes custom works for Kelly Ripa and WABC-TV/Disney’s "LIVE with Kelly and Mark Halloween Special" as well as draper, pattern-maker, first hand and stitcher work at various acclaimed Broadway costume shops such as Eric Winterling, Inc.,Timberlake Studios, Blue Man Productions and Euroco. Lauren’s contract work has also been seen on the stages of McCarter Theatre Co, Crossroads Theatre Co, George Street Playhouse, The Shakespeare Theatre of NJ, Red Bull Theater (Off-Broadway), Bronx Opera, and Glimmerglass Opera.
