George Spitzer

George Spitzer is a versatile singer in the fields of musical theatre and classical repertoire. He has performed throughout the United States and Europe. Spitzer’s students have/are currently performing on Broadway (Aladdin, The Lion King, Lempicka, Some Like it Hot, Sunset Boulevard, Annie) and off-Broadway (The Office: A Musical Parody), with National Broadway Tours (Aladdin, CATS, The Karate Kid, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, In The Heights, A Chorus Line, Henry and Mudge, Amber Brown Is Not a Crayon, A Christmas Story), at theme parks (Busch Gardens, Dollywood, Disney), international cruise ships (Norwegian, Celebrity, Holland America) and with numerous regional opera and musical theater companies. Spitzer is an Adjunct Professor of Voice at Montclair State University and Kean University. He holds a BMus from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, an MM from Eastman School of Music, and Post Graduate studies through Oberlin College and Centro Studi Italiani. Spitzer is a member of the New York Singing Teachers Association (NYSTA) and is on the Board of Directors of the New York City National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS – NYC).
