Kean University

Charlie Del Risco is a performance artist, puppeteer, cabaret performer, and Theatre educator based in the NJ/NY area. He earned his BA in Theatre from Kean University where he now works as an adjunct professor. He holds an MFA in Theatre from Sarah Lawrence College with an emphasis in Performance Studies and Puppetry. Credits include the Feature film Gutboy: A Badtime story. Point Pleasant: The Tale of the Mothman (St Anne’s Warehouse, Figur Theater, Norway), An Alternate Approach: The Yellow Wallpaper (Kean University), An Alternate Approach: …Gone (Kean University), Avenue Q (Kean University). His original works have been featured in festivals in Vienna, Austria, Reykjavik, Iceland, Edinburgh, Scotland, as well as all over the United States. Charlie is a current company member at the Swedish Cottage Marionette Theater in Central Park.
