Weather Alert

Due to the winter weather forecast, all classes that begin at 6 p.m. or later at Kean’s main campus in Union will be conducted remotely today, Tuesday, February 11. All classes and activities at Kean’s Union campus will also be remote until 11 a.m. on Wednesday, February 12. Classes that begin at 11 a.m. or later will meet as scheduled on Wednesday. Administrative offices will open at 11 a.m. on Wednesday. Employees should work remotely until 11 a.m. Only essential personnel should report to work as required before that time. Employees with questions about their status should consult their supervisors. Kean Ocean will follow the Ocean County College schedule. All students and employees at Kean Ocean are encouraged to visit the OCC website for updates.

Save the Date: Accepted Student Day, March 15, 2025

Kean University celebrates your acceptance in the most unique way!

Accepted students are invited to participate in Kean's Accepted Cougar Race! You'll team-up with future classmates in games that challenge your collaboration, problem-solving, and communication skills. Students will interact with Kean's diverse and inclusive community across our Union, New Jersey campus, with one winning team crowned the Accepted Student Day Champions!

Family is encouraged to attend! During the Race, your family will tour campus and attend presentations that introduces Kean's student wellness and safety initiatives, demystifies financial aid, and previews the resources available to maintain your path toward graduation. You'll all have the opportunity to enjoy Kean's cuisine and receive exclusive Accepted Student Day swag.

Registration will be available in the 2025. In the meantime, mark Saturday, March 15, 2025 on your calendar!

Kean Information Session and Tour

Information Sessions for Freshmen and Transfer Students

Kean Information Session and Tour (KIST) is your opportunity to explore Kean University! During this event, we'll discuss Kean's academic offerings, review our application and financial aid options, and familiarize you with our robust campus life. In-person KISTs are two hours and include a 90-minute walking campus tour with our Student Ambassadors. Virtual KISTs last one hour and include a virtual tour. Click through the calendars below to select the most convenient session. We host these events in-person and virtually.

International Admissions: Virtual Information Sessions

Information Sessions Hosted Monthly

International students at Kean can choose from over 50 undergraduate degrees, more than 70 graduate programs and six doctoral degree programs. Small class sizes ensure that our students are able to make meaningful connections with our expert faculty. During this virtual event hosted by the Office of Admissions, you will learn important dates and application instructions to help guide you through the Admissions process. We'll discuss Kean's diverse and vibrant campus culture, as well as the services offered by the Center for International Studies - including their dedication to ensuring Kean students maintain F1/J1 status and successfully complete their degree.

Commit to Climb Higher Day: April 2025

Celebrate National Decision Day with us on campus during Commit to Climb Higher Day!

Bring your family and celebrate acceptance to Kean with your future classmates! You're invited to tour academic buildings, visit student life facilities, and sample our cuisine. Additionally, our staff will be available to assist with important steps to enrollment right on the spot, including placing your tuition deposit and scheduling placement testing, academic advisement, and course registration appointments.

Dean Receptions: April 2025

Each spring, Kean University invites our accepted students to attend an evening reception with the Dean of their college. These special events are exclusive for accepted students and their families, and provide small-group networking with alumni, faculty, and fellow incoming students. During the event you'll receive a sneak peak at Kean's world-class facilities and receive guidance to help jumpstart your academic career.
