Before we get started, please make note that all future Kean Cougars and guests must remain in their vehicles with the window kept fully closed for the duration of the journey. Our staff follows strict social distancing and COVID-19 safety protocols outlined by the CDC ensuring a healthy, fun, and cougar-rific experience for all. Safety first, but then let the good times roll!
This interactive event page will be your guide throughout the drive-thru experience. When you have completed your campus preview, our staff will direct you to park for a special presentation. At this time you can roll down your windows and also open your trunk to receive your Kean swag.
Now it’s time to sit back and enjoy a glimpse into your future here at Kean!
George Hennings Research Wing
Doing research is kind of our thing. The George Hennings Research wing is the newest addition to Kean. It provides state-of-the-art labs for students in The Dorothy and George Hennings College of Science, Mathematics and Technology. The labs will expand research opportunities for students who also can conduct fieldwork in the distinct environments of Kean three campuses — Kean Union, Kean Ocean and Kean Skylands.
Dorothy Grant Hennings Hall
The power of education. If you have a passion for teaching, you’re needed now more than ever. It’s here at Dorothy Grant Hennings Hall where you’ll get the best training in the region to prepare you for a job in front of the classroom and across the spectrum of academic experience.
Hutchinson Hall
The mecca of digital content creation. Hutchinson Hall houses a complete TV studio for students in communication to get the hands-on training needed to enter a competitive marketplace. This building is named after John C. Hutchinson, who joined Kean University in 1934 and served the institution for a total of 37 years.
Willis Plaza
It’s time to recharge - literally. Architecture student Hugo Burgos helped design this new Learning Plaza on the former site of Willis Hall. The new plaza provides a view into campus from Morris Avenue, a comfortable, natural setting and charging stations, so students - and their devices - can recharge between classes.
