Medical Laboratory Science
Medical laboratory science uses science to improve lives.
A medical laboratory science degree prepares you to have an instrumental career in medicine, whether it’s by identifying medical conditions using sophisticated instruments and techniques; collecting samples and performing tests to analyze body fluids, tissue and other substances; or collaborating with comprehensive medical teams on patient care.
Kean’s medical laboratory science program is affiliated with Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch, Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune and the Valley Hospital in Ridgewood, giving our students access to real-world experience in local medical settings.
Kean medical laboratory science graduates are contributing to medical science in hospitals, clinics, research laboratories, outpatient care centers, physician offices and in academia.
