 About George M. Johnson's All Boys Aren't Blue

Kean's Common Read Program fosters critical thinking by joining our community together through conversations and events surrounding one common book. We create interdisciplinary programs, events, and pedagogical resources for students in Transition to Kean, The First-Year Seminar, Psychology, English, Speech Language Pathology, ESL, Women's Studies among others.

Together, students, faculty, and staff suggested over 100 books for our 2022 Common Read Program. After a rigorous multistep process, the winner was determined to be All Boys Aren't Blue by George M. Johnson.

All Boys Aren't Blue opens up complex and necessary dialogues on sexuality, sexual exploration, and identity for our campus community.
