Student Affairs develops and builds students' leadership skills through clubs, organizations and programs; provides the opportunity to develop socially through social and cultural experiences; and provides health and wellness resources for students to attain academic and personal success.

Meet the Division
Student Affairs is a division that complements the academic mission of the University. It is under the vision and direction of the Acting Vice President for Student Affairs, Kerrin Lyles. The division provides a comprehensive educational experience that includes students' personal development. This is achieved through the work of various departments and services within the division.

CENTER FOR LEADERSHIP & SERVICE is committed to developing students to become actively engaged global citizens through community and volunteer services, Greek life, Kean Leadership Institute, student involvement and recognized student groups and organizations.

MIRON STUDENT CENTER is the focal point of campus organizations and activities, with facilities including a game room, cafeteria and eateries, tech lounge, and meeting spaces. Outside the building, enjoy the basketball and volleyball courts, and turf field. Kean P.U.L.S.E. organizes various events year-round for students.

OFFICE OF COMMUNICATIONS & MARKETING is responsible for developing division-wide, strategic marketing plans supporting the university’s mission and student success initiatives, along with managing the Student Life Media Team/Cougar’s Byte, and the Memorabilia, yearbook.

OFFICE OF STUDENT ACCOUNTABILITY, STANDARDS & EDUCATION works to provide a campus environment where students can grow intellectually and develop as people through enforcing Kean’s shared values and principles and Student Code of Conduct.

OFFICE OF STUDENT GOVERNMENT develops strong student leaders through a wide array of personal and professional development opportunities and operates the Student Government Association (SGA) and Graduate Student Government (GSG).
