Meet President Lamont O. Repollet, Ed.D.
Lamont O. Repollet, Ed.D., a visionary educator devoted to fostering equity and access to higher education for all students, was selected as the 18th leader of Kean University by the Kean Board of Trustees on May 11, 2020, following a comprehensive national search.
Leadership
Kean is a public university governed by a Board of Trustees and managed by a President duly appointed by the Board. The Board currently consists of 15 members appointed by the Governor of New Jersey, as well as a student trustee representative elected annually by the student body. Pursuant to the Higher Education Restructuring Act of 1994, the Board has general supervision and oversight over the University. The President is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the University and the implementation of policies established by the Board.

A Global University
Kean delivers a world-class education that prepares students to compete in the global marketplace. The University has three campuses located in New Jersey, a virtual campus through Kean Online, and is the only public American university with a campus in China at Wenzhou-Kean University. Kean also offers many Travelearn and study abroad opportunities to help prepare students as citizens of the world.
