Technical Theatre Coordinator(Professional Services Specialist III)

Associate Director III
Under the direction of the Budget Director, acts as the principal managerial assistant to the Director and assists in the administration of the Budget Office. Associate Dean
The university invites applications for Associate Dean for Global Studies in the College of Business and Public Management. Reporting to the dean, the associate dean will play a key role in realizing the academic mission of the college. Specific responsibilities include overseeing the establishment of a vibrant Global Business program, including the development and implementation of strategies, procedures and metrics for the recruitment, admission, advising and enrollment of students to this selective program. It will be particularly important for the associate dean to foster strong partnerships with the global business community. The new programs will have a required experiential dimension including international exchanges and overseas co-op work opportunities for students. Therefore, a candidate’s global business experience and networks would be an asset. Additional responsibilities include working on accreditation and outcomes assessment activities for all business programs; working with the dean, assistant dean and the departments/schools on special programs and in managing course offerings; and other duties as assigned by the dean. Under the direction of the Dean, the Executive Director is the academic and administrative leader of the school responsible for managing all school activities at the Union campus and at four off-site programs at regional community colleges. With a student population of over 600+ RN-BSN and MSN students, NLN accreditation and vibrant enterprises within a Center for Nursing Research and an active Global Nursing Initiative, growth and further development are the hallmarks of the school’s strategic plan.
The Executive Director develops and implements school policies and procedures; manages the evaluation process for all school faculty and staff; manages the hiring process for all school personnel; oversees curriculum, program development and outcome assessments; prepares and manages the academic advisement plan for all programs within the school; manages the school’s budget; maintains relationships with external agencies and professional organizations; and does related work as required. The Executive Director may be required to teach two in-load courses each semester (spring and fall) in addition to assigned managerial duties and responsibilities.

The New Jersey Center for Science, Technology and Mathematics (NJCSTM) offers a five year, combined bachelor/master degree with five options: three for the preparation of secondary science and mathematics teachers (biology, chemistry and mathematics) and two leading to research careers in science and technology (molecular biology/biotechnology and computational applied mathematics). Responsibilities: Reporting to the Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs, the Dean will provide leadership for the New Jersey Center for Science, Technology and Mathematics and Technology Transfer in the areas of teaching, research, university and community service, entrepreneurship and applied sciences. Coordinator of Evening/Weekend Operations
Program Assistant (Half-Time)
The Coordinator of Evening/Weekend Operations supervises the University Center’s part-time and student worker staff, patrons and visitors; supervises facilities under the responsibility of the University Center; monitors evening and weekend activities coordinated and/or scheduled by the University Center or the Office of the Vice President for Student Affairs; and performs additional duties as required. OFFICE OF HUMAN RESOURCES
READER
Kean University is seeking a Reader that will work with a faculty member. The Reader will read aloud to the faculty member various printed materials and/or information from a computer screen that cannot be read by the adaptive computer equipment and software. The Reader will take dictation when the adaptive computer equipment and software cannot do so. Position is temporary and filled on a semester to semester basis, up to a maximum of 20 hours per week. Salary range is $9.50 to $16 per hour, and is commensurate upon experience.
The Reader's work schedule will vary each semester based on the faculty member's teaching schedule. We would prefer candidates that are available a minimum of 3 days per week, contingent upon the faculty members schedule.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree is required, with some training or experience in a field of study related to the psychology material that the Reader will read.
