Small Business Workshop Series for Elizabeth Residents and Small Business Owners
The New Jersey Small Business Development Center (NJSBDC) at Kean University has partnered with the City of Elizabeth to offer a series of free, biweekly workshops for Elizabeth residents and small business owners.
The events will be held on Tuesdays from October through December, from 10 a.m. to noon, in the Elizabeth Business Resource Center, located on the second floor of the New Jersey Department of Labor Building, at 921 Elizabeth Avenue in Elizabeth, N.J.
The workshops are aimed toward anyone who has considered self employment or starting a business, or has a hobby or skill they’d like to use to generate income. Presented by representatives from the NJSBDC at Kean, these informative sessions are also available to current business owners who need ideas on how to grow their business in a stalled economy. Advance registration is required.
Free one-on-one counseling is also available at the Business Resource Center. To register for a seminar, or schedule a counseling session, please contact the NJSBDC at Kean at 908.737.4220.
