Kean Hosts Small Business Tax Workshop
The Small Business Development Center of Kean University will present a free seminar, titled Small Business Tax Workshop, on Tuesday, December 4, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Plainfield Public Library, located at 8th Street and Park Avenue in Plainfield, N.J.
Conducted by representatives of the New Jersey Division of Taxation, this seminar will explore a variety of tax-related topics, including reporting business income, filing sales and use tax returns, and the N.J. tax consequences of various types of business ownership. They will also discuss meeting employer responsibilities, as well as registering a business with the N.J. Division of Taxation.
This workshop is co-sponsored by the N.J. Division of Taxation. Special arrangements for people with disabilities can be made upon request.
